African Black Soap is made from the ash of locally harvested plants and barks such as plantain, cocoa pods, palm tree leaves, and shea tree bark, forming potash. Palm kernel oil or coconut oil and water are then added to the potash. The aroma and deep rich color result from the centuries old extraction process that blends the ingredients together resulting in the finest skin cleaner available.
