X-D Wax medium has a high concentration of damar resin, giving it a working consistency and flow similar to honey when liquefied. The extra damar provides a harder film that is glossier, more translucent and much more durable than regular wax medium. It can be used as a base coat, topcoat or wax paint extender. It offers a hard, durable surface that can be polished to a glass-like sheen. The extra damar also makes it less flexible so rigid substrates are recommended. Available in 1.5 oz. and 6 oz. ready-to-heat tins.
